Jose Medina serves as a managing director of RT Specialty and co-chairman of RT ProExec of RT ProExec. He has over 30 years of experience at the heart of the professional liability insurance industry and has crafted insurance solutions for a wide variety of companies that have withstood numerous legal tests.

Previously, Jose co-founded OakBridge Insurance Services with Alex Jezerski, which was acquired by RT Specialty in 2010. Jose was also one of the founders of Carpenter Moore East, where he established a strong broking presence and developed a national book of business. Before starting Carpenter Moore, Jose managed Aetna/Executive Risk’s Commercial D&O unit, helping them create their prominent D&O presence. He began his career with AIG in New York in 1987.

Jose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
