How long does it take to get a Connector Quote?
Quotes are available in a matter of minutes!
Are Quotes bindable?
Yes quotes are fully bindable, with zero post bind subjectivities, except for Workers’ Comp and Trucking, which are routed to RT for binding!
What if my submission doesn't return a quote?
No problem! There are no dead ends in RT Connector. The RT Producer you selected will work with you to finalize a quote.
Which states can Connector offer Quotes?
Quotes are available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, with varying appetite by Line of Business.
Does RT Connector recommend Quotes?
No, however the Compare All feature puts the quotes side by side to make your analysis easier.
How do I bind a Quote?
Simply select your preferred quote and continue to bind. License information is required. Where required by state, you will be prompted for declinations from admitted markets for non-admitted quotes.
What happens after I bind?
Once all data is collected for bind, a bind package is created and sent via DocuSign to the licensed producer from your agency and the insured for electronic signature.
The submission is NOT bound until both signatures are returned. Workers’ Comp and Trucking binds are processed via your RT Producer.
What happens after the DocuSign is completed?
After both producer and insured sign the DocuSign packet, policy is bound! Issuance is initiated and once available can be downloaded via RT Connector. A copy of the completed DocuSign is sent to both parties.
Can I use a signed application (wet signature) instead of DocuSign?
No, electronic signatures are required as all automation is based on those electronic signatures.
Can I bind the submission without signatures?
Contact support if you require an exception to bind without signatures.
How do I get the binder?
Once the binder is generated, it is available for you to download. Simply log back in, search for your insured and download any documents you need.
Where is the policy and how do I get the policy document?
After the policy is issued, it is available for you to download. Simply log back in, search for your insured and download any documents you need. Policy issuance times vary by Line of Business and by Carrier.
How am I invoiced?
The invoice is sent to you via email upon bind. It is also available for you to download.
What payment options are available?
RT Connector offers payment flexibility. Through our online payment portal, we accept credit card (3.25%) or ACH. You are always welcome to pay via traditional “snail mail” too, just as you do with RT Specialty business. And depending on your agency preferences, Premium Finance may also be available.
Can you direct bill the insured?
