Central Cambria looking for insurance help as mold cleanup costs could be nearly $1M

As the new school year approaches, Central Cambria School District continues dealing with a mold issue discovered in its elementary school in July.
Superintendent Jason Moore revealed that the mold, identified as a common type of Aspergillus, was found in July on desks and chairs by teachers. Aspergillus molds are generally not considered dangerous for most people but can cause health risk for those with a weakened immune system or lung diseases. Read more.
