Contaminants found at six more Fairfield sites

Six out of the 10 town fields tested last week showed low levels of contaminated soil.
The town announced results from Aug. 22-23 tests Friday night, saying they will remediate contaminated sites despite notice from experts that the levels detected are not dangerous. Read more.
