Barrieās two major transit developments face higher costs due to an unanticipated, additional amount of contaminated soil, extended archaeological monitoring and investigations, and the complex requirements of working adjacent to a Metrolinx rail corridor.
Affected are the Allandale and Downtown Transit Mobility Hubs, and Allandale Historic Train Station development projects, with the additional bill of nearly $2.4 million. Read more.
