Working with our broker partner on this new business, New Day structured a combined Contractor’s Professional/Contractor’s Pollution Liability (CPrL/CPL) program for this $50,000,000 design/build firm specializing in building envelope cladding systems, including prefabricated EIFS panel systems.  When contractors are involved in manufacturing, fabrication and/or EIFS, many professional liability underwriters will not offer terms because of the product liability risk.  All traditional contractors professional liability carriers declined the account.  However, New Day was able to secure a combined CPrL/CPL program with a $5,000,000 per claim/aggregate limit and a $25,000 self insured retention for $98,000 premium.
