Crews stabilizing Manhattan building, engineer says top floors likely crooked

Crews from New York City managed to reach the 21st floor and begin work to shore up the buckled columns, New York City Department of Buildings Commissioner Commissioner Ahmed Tigani said in a press conference late Tuesday night.

“We are feeling confident that many of the emergency shoring measures … is stabilizing the situation,” he said. Read more.
