Diesel spill contaminates creek in Spartanburg; remediation underway

Cleanup operations are underway after Kinder Morgan reported a fuel spill at its facility in Spartanburg.

Around 10 p.m. Sunday, ​diesel began to release from one of the tanks at Products (SE) Pipe Line Corporation’s Spartanburg Station facility. After the release was discovered, the company shut down the tank and the release was stopped. Read more.
