Eugene YMCA building in disrepair? What to know about $1.2M lawsuit

The Eugene Family YMCA has sued the architect, general contractor, and engineering firm responsible for building its Don Stathos Campus, alleging that it has several construction defects.

The lawsuit, filed by the YMCA on Jan. 2 in Lane County Circuit Court, names as defendants Pivot Architecture, PC, Chambers Construction Co, and PAE Consulting Engineers, INC. The suit alleges the property damage is the result of “faulty design, workmanship, inadequate supervision, improper coordination, improper repairs, improper or defective materials, failure to properly inspect the work at completion and non-compliance with applicable building codes.” Read more.
