One year after warnings about PFAS in the Huron River shocked Southeast Michigan, communities along the waterway are still fighting to eliminate all sources of contamination.
A major industrial polluter dramatically reduced its PFAS flowing into the river, but many concerns – and the investigation into additional sources of the chemicals – remain along the waterway that spans five counties until it drains into Lake Erie. Read more.
