Lee County in deal with contractor to fix problems at both its spring training ballparks

The company that oversaw construction of two spring training baseball parks built by Lee County along the Daniels Parkway corridor has agreed to pay part of the cost to fix problems that have developed at JetBlue Park and Hammond Stadium in the past few years.

The problems developed after JetBlue opened as a spring training home for the Boston Red Sox in 2012 and after a series of renovations were finished at Hammond Stadium at CenturyLink Sports Complex in 2015. Read more.
