Legionnaires’ at Flint hospital dating to 2008 could affect criminal cases in water crisis

A recent federal investigation into a Flint hospital traced Legionnaires’ disease cases back to 2008 — years before the city’s water crisis unfolded — raising questions about any potential criminal charges former Gov. Rick Snyder and other state officials could face for their roles in the Flint water crisis, according to a former state health director.
Legionnaires’ disease is a severe form of pneumonia caused by a bacterium known as Legionella. Read more.
