Legionnaires’ disease outbreak: Hampton Beach resort hit with 4 new lawsuits

Four new civil lawsuits have been filed against the Sands Resort over the 2018 Legionnaires’ disease outbreak at Hampton Beach that caused the deaths of two people and sickened dozens more.

The suits were filed last week in Rockingham Superior Court against the Sands Resort Management Co. and the three trustees of the property at 32 Ashworth Ave. that has 84 hotel condominium units.  Read more.
