Navy Updates Restoration Advisory Board on Hartwell Road Contamination Cleanup

Representatives from the Navy, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), joined a scant audience for a hybrid meeting of the Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) on July 8.

The representatives, under the direction of newly appointed Navy Remedial Project Manager Jessica Wilson, reviewed a slide presentation on the ongoing long-term efforts to clean up toxic waste at a designated Superfund site on Hartwell Road at the former Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant (NWIRP) Bedford.
