Officials Investigating Multiple Cases of Legionnaires’ Disease Stemming from 5-Star Las Vegas Resort

Two people who stayed at a luxury Las Vegas hotel and casino have contracted Legionnaires’ disease, a severe type of pneumonia.

The cases are associated with stays at the 5-star Wynn Las Vegas. One individual stayed at the property in September 2025, while the other stayed in February 2026. Both have since recovered, according to the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD). Read more.
