PFAS contamination confirmed at EPA site along Kalamazoo River

The Michigan PFAS Action Response Team has confirmed an EPA Superfund site in downtown Kalamazoo has pervasive PFAS contamination.

MPART announced Tuesday that the former Auto Ion Chemicals site on Mills Street has shown elevated levels of PFAS compounds well beyond the state’s safety levels. Read more.
