Rate increases rife in A/E professional liability market

The US construction industry remained resilient during the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling many insurers that provide architects and engineers (A/E) professional liability insurance to achieve varied premium growth in 2020. However, deteriorating claims experience and significant uncertainty heading into 2021 is prompting insurers to seek larger rate increases, according to a new survey by specialty insurance broker Ames & Gough.  Read more.
