San Benito school district sues over failed construction job

Four years after launching part of a $40 million bond-funded project, the San Benito school district is locked in a legal battle against three companies behind a failed $12 million construction job.

The district is suing the Brighton Group, Davila Construction and Raba Kistner Inc., citing the failed project launched in 2021 aimed at building a $21.3 million performing arts theater and an $8.8 million aquatics center. Read more.
