Semi crash, chemical spill shuts down I-94 in Ann Arbor overnight

There were no serious injuries, but there was a big mess and long delays for drivers near Ann Arbor, after a semi truck overturned overnight.

The crash happened just after 12 a.m. Thursday, along westbound I-94 at Jackson Road.

Officials said the tractor-trailer was carrying a variety of hazardous materials when it hit the median wall, sending significant concrete debris into the eastbound lanes of I-94, resulting in several secondary crashes. Read more.
