Speeding cleanup of pollution at ‘Areas of Concern’ on Wisconsin’s waterways

The bipartisan federal infrastructure law passed in 2021 is set to not only invest in improvements to the nation’s roads, railways, airports and bridges, but also accelerate a decades-long cleanup of the most polluted places in the Great Lakes, including four sites in Wisconsin. A March 2 visit to Superior by President Joe Biden highlighted these connected priorities, which will be funded to the tune of billions of dollars over the next decade. Read more.
