Excess flood coverage may be a beneficial supplement to primary flood limits.
Policy Features
- Cobra and non-participating communities
- Loss of use available in some markets
- Residential Dwelling (1-2 family)
- Primary, Secondary and Tenant occupancies
Excluded Classes
- Properties built on stilts over water
- Condominium
- Dwellings with more than 1 flood loss
- Buildings located in V Zones and Negative Elevations must be approved by the company
- Builder’s Risk
Limits Available
- Maximum limit – $5M TIV for Building & Contents
Special Requirements
- Residential Contents can be bound only in conjunction with building coverage.
- Underlying flood policy declarations page and elevation certificate (where applicable)Â must accompany the completed excess flood application.
