DEC Announces Chemical Cleanup at Town and Country Dry Cleaners in Brighton

The Department of Environmental Conservation is set to begin remedial work on a plot of land in Brighton where harmful chemicals have been found in the ground water and soil.

The DEC classifies the site on Monroe Avenue at the Town and Country Dry Cleaners as a class “2” inactive hazardous waste disposal site. Read more.
