Feds Sue Delaware Over Environmental Cleanup at State Park

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has filed a lawsuit seeking millions of dollars from the state of Delaware for costs associated with the clean-up of lead-contaminated material at Fort DuPont State Park.

The lawsuit filed Wednesday claims the federal government is owed some $3.8 million for cleaning up lead-contaminated material more than five years ago from a former dump site at the park. Read more.
