NJ Launches 7 Environmental Lawsuits; Livingston Site On List

New Jersey state officials launched seven new environmental lawsuits on Friday, including a suit involving the site of a former dry-cleaning business in Livingston.

The seven unrelated complaints address a broad array of environmental harms linked to the “unlawful discharge and storage of hazardous chemicals,” Attorney General Gurbir Grewal and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Commissioner Catherine McCabe said in a joint statement. Read more.
