New Day provides CPL/CPrL/CGL insurance program for environmental remediation firm
While working with our broker partner, New Day was tasked with placing a practice pollution, professional and general liability (CPL/CPrL/CGL) insurance program for an environmental remediation firm that had previously been placed direct with the carrier. The projected revenues were expected to remain flat and operations were also expected to remain the same as the previous year. New Day consulted with the existing underwriter at the incumbent carrier to enhance the following coverages:
- Added occurrence mold coverage
- Added non-owned disposal site (NODS) coverage
- Added medical monitoring to the definition of Bodily Injury
- Enhanced transportation coverage to include 1st and 3rd party coverage (previously only 3rd party on-site coverage)
New Day provided the above enhancements, as well as a few others, for the same premium as the expiring program. The coverage was ultimately bound with the incumbent carrier, and most importantly, the insured was extremely impressed with the enhanced product procured by their retail broker.
